How to get the Grapple Beam in Metroid Prime Remastered. Find out how to get the Grapple Beam.

  • Overview of Grapple Beam
The Grapple Beam is an incredibly useful tool in Metroid Prime. With it, you can reach previously inaccessible areas and complete puzzles. It’s an essential addition to the game and one that you won’t want to miss out on. 

  • Where to Find Grapple Beam
The Grapple Beam is located in the Phazon Mines, in the Tallon Overworld. To get there, you must use the Wavebuster obtained from the Tower of Light. 

Requirements 


  • Wavebuster from the Tower of Light 
Before you can reach the Grapple Beam, you’ll need to obtain the Wavebuster from the Tower of Light. Once you have it, you’ll be able to traverse the depths of the mines and reach the Grapple Beam. 

  • Power Bomb
The Power Bomb is also required to get the Grapple Beam. Without it, you won’t be able to complete the puzzle and unlock the Grapple Beam.

    • Head down through the Phazon Mines 
    To begin, you’ll need to head down through the Phazon Mines. Once you’re there, you’ll need to defeat the Cloaked Drone before continuing. 

    • Defeat the Cloaked Drone 
    The Cloaked Drone is a tricky enemy that must be defeated before you can continue. Once you’ve defeated it, you can proceed. 

    • Complete the Morph Ball puzzle 
    After defeating the Cloaked Drone, you’ll need to complete the Morph Ball puzzle. This puzzle is quite tricky, but if you’re careful and take your time, you should be able to complete it without much trouble. 

    • Push forward until you reach the Phazon pool in Metroid Quarantine A 
    Once you’ve completed the Morph Ball puzzle, you can push forward until you reach the Phazon pool in Metroid Quarantine A. Once you’ve reached it, you’ll notice an increase in spectral presence. 

    • Backtrack to the Tallon Overworld upon noticing increased spectral presence 
    At this point, you’ll need to backtrack to the Tallon Overworld. Here, you’ll be able to find the Grapple Beam. 

    • Head to Ore Processing room and use Power Bomb to blow up the Bendezium build-up 
    Once you’ve reached the Tallon Overworld, you’ll need to head to the Ore Processing room. Here, you’ll need to use the Power Bomb to blow up the Bendezium build-up. Once it’s blown up, you’ll be able to collect the Grapple Beam. 

    • Collect Grapple Beam
    Once you’ve obtained the Power Bomb and gotten rid of the Bendezium build-up, you can collect the Grapple Beam. With the Grapple Beam in your possession, you can now traverse far away places and reach previously inaccessible areas.
