EV stands for Effort Values in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. EVs are basically stats that are gained by battling Pokémon. EVs are split between six stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Attack, Sp. Defense, and Speed. Each stat has a maximum of 255 EVs, and the points can be distributed among them.

To reset EV points, you need to find and feed the Pokémon specific berries. Each berry lowers a certain stat; for example, the Pomeg Berry lowers the HP stat. To get all the EV points back, you must feed the Pokémon the following berries: Pomeg Berry (HP stat), Kelpsy Berry (Attack stat), Qualot Berry (Defense stat), Hondew Berry (Sp. Attack stat), Grepa Berry (Sp. Defense stat), and Tamato Berry (Speed stat). Feeding the Pokémon any of these berries reduces the EV points by 10, allowing you to move them to a different stat.
You can find these berries by searching around the Overworld for glistening spots. These spots contain the same berry, but the one you get will be random. To reset EV points, you will need to find all six berries mentioned above. After you have gotten all the berries, you can feed them to the Pokémon.
Resetting EVs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can be a time-consuming task, but it is a necessary part of the game. By finding the right berries and feeding them to your Pokémon, you can reset the EV points and redirect them to a more useful stat. With some patience and planning, you can customize your Pokémon to be the best they can be!
