The Dining Room puzzle in Resident Evil 4 Remake is one of the game’s trickiest puzzles. Players must carefully analyze the portraits on the back wall in order to identify the correct seating positions that will unlock the cage and gain access to the snake head. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps needed to solve the Dining Room puzzle.
How to Solve the Puzzle
The first step in solving the Dining Room puzzle is to identify the clues in the portraits on the back wall. There are four portraits, each depicting a different plate setting. On the left side are two plates with silverware, one plate with a fish, and one plate with a fork. On the right side are two plates with silverware, one plate with a steak, and one plate with a knife.
Once the clues in the portraits have been identified, it is time to figure out where Leon and Ashley should sit. Leon should sit on the left chair near the table closest to the portraits, while Ashley should sit on the right chair near the center of the room.
Finally, the dinner bell must be rung to open the cage and unlock the snake head. Make sure Leon and Ashley are in the correct positions before ringing the bell.
