How to Learn Descendo in Hogwarts Legacy
Finding the Phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy can be a tricky endeavour. To locate it, you must complete three quests given to you by Deek, the infamous centaur. These quests are: "The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom", "The Plight of the House-Elf" and "Foal of the Dead."
Once you complete the last quest, "Phoenix Rising", you will be taken to Phoenix Mountain Cave in the Highlands. Prepare yourself, as the Phoenix will put up a fight upon entering the nab-sack.
Complete Deek's Quests
The first quest, "The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom," will require you to find an elf who will give you a magical sack. Once you have the sack, you must find a loom to weave a magical fabric. This fabric will be used to craft a magical sack that will be used to capture the Phoenix.
Talk to Deek Again
Once you have completed the first quest, you must go back to Deek to receive your next quest. This time, you will be tasked with rescuing a house-elf from a rival wizard. This quest is called "The Plight of the House-Elf".
Do the Plight of the House-Elf Quest
In this quest, you must find the house-elf and bring it back to Deek. Once you have done this, you will be rewarded with a magical amulet that will help you in your quest to capture the Phoenix.
Do the Foal of the Dead Quest
The next quest is "Foal of the Dead". This will require you to find a magical foal that has been cursed and bring it back to Deek. Once you have found the foal, you must use the amulet to break the curse.
Do the Phoenix Rising Quest
The final quest is "Phoenix Rising". This quest will take you to Phoenix Mountain Cave in the Highlands. Here, you will use the magical sack and the magical fabric to capture the Phoenix.
Go to Phoenix Mountain Cave
Once you have reached Phoenix Mountain Cave, you must be prepared for a fight. Arm yourself with a wand, a wand-charging spell, and a healing potion. You will need all of these items in order to survive the battle with the Phoenix.
